FIELD NOTES
Where I write through what I see, how I see it, and what stays with me, making sense of how the places I go and the things I experience shape my work.
I share these notes in the off chance that someone might find something useful or inspiring, or simply be curious about how my work looks the way it does.
A LOVE LETTER TO THE WHYTE MUSEUM IN BANFF
In late winter, I often go home to Calgary and usually end up in Banff, where the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies is always a highlight. This season’s exhibition, Elise Rasmussen’s An Alpine Trilogy, left me thinking about blue, not just as a colour, but in relation to language, memory, and what is just out of reach.
